Music For A Safe Space: Benefit Concert for Sarah's Circle

On Saturday, April 22 at 1:30pm in the Performance Penthouse on the 9th Floor of Logan Center For The Arts at the University of Chicago, 915 East 60th St on the Midway in Hyde Park, three of Chicago's finest classical musicians will perform an intimate concert of music to benefit women who are homeless or in need of a safe space.

Cedille Records Recording Artist and University of Chicago faculty member soprano Patrice Michaels will be joined by renowned instrumentalists Eugenia Moliner, flute and Denis Azabagic, guitar (who comprise the Cavatina Duo) in a wonderfully varied program of music. Featured on the program will be a trio by celebrated composer Laurie Altman with text by Pablo Neruda, "No Hay Olvido," as well as new songs composed by Patrice Michaels.

All proceeds from Music For A Safe Space benefit Sarah's Circle, a nonprofit serving women who are homeless or in need of a safe space.
